- Uses non-dispersive infrared method to detect presence of hydrocarbon gases
- Sensor contains an infrared radiation source, dual element custom infrared detector, unique optical waveguide into which gas diffuses and internal ARM7 core microprocessor based electronics to provide voltage output which independent of power supply polarity
- Can be configured to provide pellistor format output, typically mid supply at zero with voltage output increasing with respect to detector pin by 100mV at range or linear voltage output, typically 0.4 to 2.0V over range with respect to negative supply pin
- In addition, output can be read and internal configuration can be accessed by serial communications link
- High resolution of 0.01% volume for 0 to 10% volume and 0.1% volume for 10 or 100% volume
- Operates independent of supply polarity
- Pellistor mimic Bridge or linear voltage output
- Operating voltage range: 3.0 to 5.0V
