  Simplex soft Indoor Optical Fiber Cable Description:   Indoor fiber cables use a sheath made from a LSZH/PVC material with  the diameter depending on the type of cable. Indoor cables come with  dry insulation and the cores possess a buffer of 900µm or 2.4mm.  Depending on the customer’s demands, the cables can be fitted with single mode (9/125)  or multi mode(50 or 62,5/125 or 10G) cores.   Outdoor cables use a sheath made from polyethylene LLDPE with the diameter  depending on the type of cable. Outdoor cables come with dry or wet insulated tubing  and the cores are surrounded by a hydro fob gel. Depending on the customer’s demands,  the cables can be fitted with single mode (9/125) or multi mode(50 or 62,5/125 or 10G) cores.   This group of cables is strengthened using a glass core and shielding in the form of metal  or metal netting.
