Alerts and Audio
As you approach a radar source, the Passport 9500ix will alert you with a distinct audible alert for the particular band of radar as well as a visual alert on the blue LED display. A voice alert for each radar and laser warning can also be switched on or off in the detector's menu. The LED display indicates which band of radar is hitting you and displays the signal strength via bar graph meter readout.

Mute and Auto Mute

It's understandable that you probably don't want to listen to the audible alert's continuous tone once you're aware of a threat. Simply press the "mute" button on the top of the detector and the audible signal will mute for that particular instance. When the signal passes out of range, the A77 will turn its audible alert back on.

AutoMute can also be activated in the detector's feature menu. Once an alert has been announced, the system will automatically turn down the audible alert to a user-selected level.

City/ Highway modes

City/ Highway modes allow the user to select operating mode which reduces the frequency of false in densely populated urban areas. When traveling at highway, the device is on full alert with maximum radar sensitivity for the best possible performance. When you choose city mode, the A77 turn down the sensitivity of key radar bands to help eliminate false alerts.

WDR / Night vision

Wide Dynamic Range allows camera to perform optimally in low light situations. The WDR technology will automatically adjust the exposure of the camera to create balanced images and footage. OV4689 low illumination image Sensor combined with external lights ensures great video quality even at night. Guarantee driving recorded anytime, anywhere.

Loop Recording:
The dash cam records seamless video clips automatically. Once the memory card is full, it overwrites the oldest unlocked video clips in order to keep uninterrupted monitoring for you. The length of each video clip can be set to 1,2,3,4 and 5 minutes

Accident Detection:(for driving)
Highly-sensitive G-sensor automatic video recording and video file locking when a collision or crash is detected.

Vibration Detection:(for Parking)
Parking Guard Feature, the device is automatically turned on and recording when a vibration(Collision or Shock) is detected.

Motion Detection: 
When it detect MOVEMENT (someone near your car or vehicle starts to move), the device automatically recording a short video for few seconds. Suggest turn this feature off in daily use; otherwise it can `t record continuous.
