This Black Buttonhole Elastic Roll is perfect for maternity wear, children's wear, bed sheets, and many more uses as it is designed to adapt to changing waist lines/widths. The Black Buttonhole Elastic Roll are made with buttonholes spaced ¾" apart from one another down the center. You can easily tighten or loosen to the desired snugness with Black Buttonhole Elastic Roll. Simply insert the button hole elastic into a casing, leaving the ends sticking out, and place a button on the other side for the button to loop around the Black Buttonhole Elastic Roll.

Black Buttonhole Elastic Roll is used inside a waistband with the ends of the elastic coming out on the inside of the waistband.
Measure the distance across the back of the person or garment from side seam to side seam at the wasitband or waistband area.
Prepare the elastic by cutting it an inch longer (or more depending on your need) than the desired amount.
Roll the Black Buttonhole Elastic Roll to enclose the raw edge.
Hand or machine sew the ends to secure the raw edge inside.
