The N-net NT-IN124 Industrial Switch is unmanaged 2 fiber POE switch with 6 ports. It supports 4 port 10/100BASE-T and 2 port 100Base-X.
The IP address of the switch is used for management purposes. The IP address of the switch is actually the IP of the VLAN.
One VLAN and one broadcast domain, access between hosts in different VLANs is equivalent to access between networks, and it must be achieved through routing.
NT-IN124 Industrial Fast Ethernet POE Switch series is packaged in a compact IP40 case that allows either DIN rail or panel mounting for efficient usage of cabinet space.
The access of hosts between different VLANs has the following situations:
(1) Two VLANs are respectively connected to two physical interfaces of the router. This is the basic application of the router.
NT-IN124 Industrial Fiber Switch series can support 4 ports POE function. Without power and wires, can power supply for HD IP Camera, wireless AP, IP phone and so on. Our Industrial Ethernet Switch support IEEE802.3at, 25.5W output.
(2) Two VLANs are connected to a physical interface of the router through trunk. This is a one-arm routing applied to sub-interfaces.
(3) Use a switch with a three-layer switching module. Cisco's 3550 and Huawei's 3526 are basic Layer 3 switches.
1) Use the IP address of the VLAN as a gateway to implement Layer 3 switching, which requires setting the IP address of the VLAN.
2) Set the port to work at Layer 3, require the port to set no switchport, and then set the port's IP address.
