dc gear motor with encoder means a dc motor with encoder and a suitable gearbox. If customer request dc motor with encoder, the door lock gear motor should have a relative high torque(a high speed), at the same time, the gearbox should use a big gear ratio. For 37mm dc spur gear motor, like DM-37RS528, the recommend motor speed is not more than 9000rpm and the biggest gear ratio is 2430. We can get a very low speed as 3-5 rpm and 3-4N torque.
