But as we can see, there are just one single chip in the middle of IR SMD LED. Compare with three chip inside, 1 chip 810nm LED package could have several benefit. Such as when we just package one chip inside, then we will got uniform light distribution: By centralizing the chip, the light emitted by the LED will be more uniformly distributes across the surface of the LED package. Reducing hotsplts and providing a more consistent light output. On the other hand, placing the chip in the middle could potentially improve heat dissipation if the surrounding area is designed to conduct heat away from the chip more efficiently.
