        This blue LED can packaged with blue diffused and rectangular lens. It's widely used for kinds of DIP project, you just need to pass the current to the LED leads as its polarity(the shorter lead is cathode), this through-hole LED will be light up and work for you. This rectangular lens will make the LED have a 140 degree viewing angle and soft diffused light.
