What is polyimide PCB?

Polyimide board is a synthetically produced plastic with excellent strength and temperature stability. This makes it ideal for use in electronics, aircraft parts, sporting goods and other commodities.

Type of polyimide
This is the most common type of polyimide currently on the market.
Pure polyimide
Sometimes called second-generation polyimides, pure polyimides do not contain brominated flame retardants or other additives. Third generation polyimide

Their thermal stability is not as good as pure polyimide, but their production time is also faster, which is ideal for mass production of Flame resistant PCB.
Filled polyimide
The filled polyimide contains one or more filler materials that help resist shrinkage of the resin. Certain types of polyimide are easily broken during curing or drilling, so the long-term stability of the product can be maximized.
Low flow polyimide
Polyimide with low fluidity does not have so much flexibility and is very suitable for printed circuit boards that need to remain rigid in harsh environments. When conventional materials are not enough, low-flow polyimide is mainly used as a special material for PCB solutions.
