Projector selection
For a preliminary reference on how large a UTD projection area can be projected by a single projector, you can use the following tool.
Since the standard projection area projected by a projector is mostly 16:9 or 16:10 (aspect ratio), if you have the length and width of the projection area, you can get how many inches (diagonal size) the projection surface is, and how many square meters the projection area is. A preliminary calculation of how many lumens of brightness a projector is needed for different standard projection areas on a UTD can be simply calculated using the following formula:
Standard projection area * 1000LM/sqm, (i.e. equivalent to standard projection area * 800LM/sqm, then divide by 0.8).

It is recommended that projectors smaller than 150" (within 6 square meters) can be configured with a single 6000LM or less projector to form a solution. More than 150 inches or larger than the standard projection area, you need to do the fusion program through several projector type to form a non-standard program.


Selection Notes
In addition, when UTD supporting projection solution, several points need to be noted:
(1) Stay away from non-indoor sunlight sources such as sunlight from west and windows along the street, will enhance the display effect and reduce the cost of configuring the projector, because UTD is applicable to indoor lighting environment.
(2) UTD dry posting on the glass partition is recommended to paste full glass, reduce the difference with no dry posting UTD glass area, forming a whole beautiful transparent screen area, but the actual projection area does not represent the whole UTD glass, can be according to the actual needs of customers, can be less than the whole UTD coverage area, will enhance the display effect, reduce the cost of configuring the projector.
