Main process of electric wires cables

Wire electric are manufactured by three processes: drawing, twisting and coating. The more complicated the model and specification, the higher the repeatability.

1. Drawing
In metal drawing, the metal is forced through the mold (pressure wheel) under the action of external force, and the metal cross-sectional area is compressed to obtain the required cross-sectional area shape and size. The technical processing method is called metal drawing.

2. Twisting
In order to improve the softness and integrity of copper wire, more than two single wires are interwoven in the specified direction, which is called twisting.
The stranding process includes conductor stranding, cabling, weaving, steel wire armouring and winding.

3. Coating
According to different performance requirements of cable power, special equipment is used to coat different materials on the outer surface of the conductor.
Extrusion: rubber, plastic, lead, aluminum and other materials.
